Picking Up

Sing the last blog entry the deer movement has picked up. The temperatures have dropped and lots of crops are coming off. Put that with bucks cruising in the day and you have a recipe for success. Many hunters in the pool have been putting bucks down. Matt Shaffer and Jacob Zimmerman both harvested 130 class bucks. Chad Johnson, Tim Fox, and Brian Kightlinger filled their tags on the same day. Kyle Frazier, Jeff Bowersox, John Sangle, and Nick Cassano also filled tags. This is the last week of early archery season for the state. Get out there while you can. Rattle, Grunt, estrus doe bleat..... the bucks are on their feet making scrapes, rubbing trees, looking for does, and battling each other.
